Here it is, my fifth book for the year! I can already tell that the habit of reading these books is beneficial for me. I’m learning lots and I’m also finding that I’m more motivated to achieve my goals for my life! And this book actually fits really well in with the habit of reading. So here is my The Slight Edge book review!
The Slight Edge is a book I have heard about from a number of very successful people and I can tell why! It is an excellent book with a lot of really positive and actionable ideas. I loved reading it!
The book is basically about the power of habits and small, easy actions compounded over time. This idea is not new and has been shared and adapted by countless other self help gurus the world over. I myself truly believe in the power of taking small daily actions towards your goals but I still found it refreshing to read about it again here.
The book analyses things through 5 different areas of life:
- Personal Development
- Relationships and Family
- Life (which is basically your purpose, beliefs and everything else)
The thing I liked most about the book was the specific actionable steps outlined for each area. The author goes into a number of different points and provides real life examples of everyday people who have achieved pretty remarkable results through simple, daily actions.
I hope you enjoyed my review of The Slight Edge. I simply cannot recommend this book highly enough! It lived up to all my expectations and more! Please do yourself a favor and read this book as it really will help improve your life!
